“I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands: one Nation under God, indivisible, With Liberty and Justice for all.”
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY
Here’s some information about a volunteer opportunity. If you are at least 14 years old and interested in volunteering in a medical setting, Swedish Medical Center has a Junior Volunteer Program that has been popular with some of our students. You must be willing to spend at least four hours a day, one day a week at the Medical Center. You can do this either during the day or evening but you must do a minimum of 35 hours during the summer.
Space is limited so you need to sign up early. There was a long wait list last year and some kids didn’t get to participate. If you have questions see Mrs. Hoffman in Counseling and she’ll get you the contact information.
