Class Activities and Assignments Link:
This secondary link on my webpage contains a summary of what we studied in class, any class notes and assignments for the lesson. Please check in weekly to see what will be assigned and what topics we are working on.
Homework:
Your son or daughter can expect homework daily, since the best way to learn mathematics is through regular practice. I am available for extra help if your son or daugther is having trouble with their course work. Please email or call me to arrange a time to meet.
Materials:
Your son or daughter needs the following materials for our math class.
- 5 subject notebook or 3-ring binder : ( we will set these up the first week with a Table of Conents, Class Notes, Homework, Investigations and Reflections)
- PENCILS... ( no pens for homework)
- White Board markers
- Colored pencils or markers on occation. I will let the students know a day or so ahead of time to bring them to class.
- Calculators are used sparingly in class. Like colored pencils and markers, students will be told when they will need them. Otherwise, we will use the best calculator in town.... their brains!
