7th Grade Class and Homework

I am available after school on a regular basis unless there is a scheduled teacher meeting.  I am also available by previous appointment (students need a pass from me if they would like to enter the buildling before 7:45 a. m.) most mornings as well. 

Students who work on  homework for 45 minutes each evening may have a parent sign that homework as an indication that they need more time to complete the assignment.  I will then give more time, reteach, modify expectations and/or employ other strategies as needed so that curricular competency can be maintained without spending more time on any given assignment.

Daily homework turned in late but within the current unit will receive half credit. Daily homework turned in late but not within the current unit will not receive credit unless special arrangements have been made with me.  Longer term assignments such as lab reports and projects will receive more credit although late but must still be turned in by the end of the relevant unit.
