MA, Walden University, Technology in Education, 2004

I was born in Nebraska and lived there for 10 months until my parents moved to Colorado. I went to Rangeview High School in Aurora and graduated in 1987. After college, I started at Newton in January of 1993 and have been here since. I have two daughters, Jordan and Maddy. In June 2007 my family doubled as I married a wonderful woman. She has two daughters. We now have 4 girls ranging from a recent college grad, a senior and freshman in college, and high school junior! In my spare time I enjoy hanging out with my family, golfing, and "geeking" around with my computer. Did I mention I like to golf?

SS Supplies

A quick look at supplies needed for Social Studies at NMS

  1. (1)- 1” 3 ring binder devoted to Social Studies (a devoted section to Social Studies in a larger divided binder is OK)
  2. Black or blue pens
  3. Pencils
  4. COLORED PENCILS (Standard, basic colored pencils. Please do not use the wax colored pencils as they shade in areas on a map much too dark)
  5. Loose leaf notebook paper

We are always in need of facial tissue and hand santizer. Any donations to the classroom are greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Guidelines

Google Docs- Templates

I love Google Docs! With that said, sometimes they decision they make are very questionable. Here are the current directions to get the the LPS Templates section

  1. Sign into your Google Docs account
  2. Go to your drive
  3. Create a new document file
  4. Go to File-New and at the bottom your will find "From Template"
  5. Once you are in the Templates section look for Ancient Greece- Individual project ideas

Come back on Wednesday ready to discuss your idea.
