SPRING CONCERT:  GIVE OUR REGARDS TO BROADWAY

Rehearsal:  May 15, 2:50-4:05 pm   (2:40-4:45 for Knight Notes only)

Performance:  Thursday, May 16, 7:00 pm in the gym          

Call time:  6:30 pm

Mandatory event for current 6th grade performing arts students, 7th & 8th grade choir students, and Knight Notes.

NOW DUE:  $5.00 for all Performing Arts, and 7th & 8th Grade Choir Students for T-shirt and black top hat.  Cash (may not be able to change larger bills) or check to Newton Middle School.  Thank you.

I was born in Chicago, IL.  My family was not musical at all, but I always loved playing the piano and choral singing, which I did through high school and college.  My first time through college, I studied Human Biology; my second time around, I studied Music Education.  I started at Newton in 2000 and here I am!  I also taught for 14 years at Childrens' Music Academy.

I have two children:  Christopher (aka Topher), 29, who is married to Stephanie, and they presented me with my first grandchild, Drake, in July of 2010; and Alyse, 26, who lives and works in northern Virginia.

In my spare time, when I can find some, I love spending time with my family and grandson.
