Personal Information and Interests

Years Teaching: 10
Years at Newton: 4
Years at LPS: 5

I received my BS degree in Hearing Impaired Education from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches Texas (go Lumberjacks).  I have held additional endorsements in math, science, and social studies 4-8.

I enjoy being with my family, which means traveling quite a bit out of state to Oklahoma, Texas, Washington, Idaho, and Michigan.  I am a goal setter in life, and running helps me to follow this discipline; currently I am training for the Marine Corps Marathon in Washington DC.  I am always having to give TLC to my 80 year old house and all its quirks and charm.
